Medical-Grade Mānuka Honey (UMF 15+)
- Safety: Mānuka honey is edible and entirely safe to use both internally and externally. It is derived from the nectar of the Leptospermum scoparium plant (native to New Zealand) and has been consumed and used in wound care for centuries.
- Healing Properties: Medical-grade mānuka honey has natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Its low pH and high sugar content help draw fluid from wounds, reduce microbial growth, and support tissue regeneration. The unique compound methylglyoxal (MGO) is responsible for its antimicrobial strength.
