I don't usually write reviews, but I had to for this. I was dealing with a painful fissure and was getting pretty frustrated. This salve was the first thing that actually seemed to make a difference. It's not a magic, overnight cure, but it was really soothing and definitely helped me heal. So glad I found it.

Diltiazem. I’ve bought this ointment so many times through the years. It works but the fissures come back every so often. Manukamend also works, but with it I’ve gained -it’s cheaper, heals faster, and I don’t need a prescription (which means less doctor visits)

I can't even tell you how long I've been bugging Dr. K about this stuff. Seriously, for years I was a patient of his and he would always give me these free samples of his custom salve and I'd be like "dude, you gotta sell this, you just HAVE to" and he'd just laugh. And I'm not even kidding I would go back to his office every few months just to get more of the free stuff cause it's that good. I have eczema right, and it can be a nightmare especially in the "down under" area if you know what I mean. so embarrassing. but like it would get so irritated and flaky and itchy and nothing really helped. I mean the prescription steroid stuff helped a little but it would come back like a week later and then sometimes the steroids would make my skin weirdly thin and just didn't feel great.
